The Jetty at The Strand, Townsville, Queensland.

An almost cloudless dawn... the first in a very long time. Hopefully an indication that the cyclones and flooding rains are over for the year.

Thank you for commenting. I need to explore in around the rivers more, as I spend most of my camera time at the beaches, but I think there are some wonderful spaces that with the right light can be captivating.

I did. :) What Rivers? Do you mean Ross River? I imagine you could achieve some beautiful reflections there.. and the morning light.

Yes, at places along the Ross River upstream from the Weir, especially out in the area around Riverway centre looks nice, but also in around Ross creek from the parks or from South Bank across the city; probably at night or at dawn would yeild some nice views I imagine. I just haven't explored these areas as much yet as they are further from where I live. So I need to make time to drive and walk and explore from different views. Even the Bohle river at a couple of the places I've crossed it when the waterlillies are flowering has potential.:D
