I was intrigued by the intricacies of Ithaca Falls...
Taken on my recent travels to the US. Ithaca Falls are in the Finger Lakes District of New York State. It is the last step of a series of waterfalls in the hanging valley of Fall Creek that runs through the campus of Cornell University. The same layered shale that was evident through other nearby gorges and that make this area so distinct made for wonderfully intricate water rivulets.
Ithaca itself is named after the Greek Island which is famous for being the island of the mythical Odysseus (Ulysses) whose exploits have been described by the famous Greek lyric poet Homer, in the Odyssey. Hope to one day see that Ithaca also
